Going to Tagaytay? Discover why Tagaytay is a favorite weekend destination for local travelers, especially those from the capital Manila.

In this guide, I list Instagrammable places and best things to do for your next weekend trip in Tagaytay, a perfect itinerary for your staycation in the South!

Tagaytay City is always on top of the list of weekend destinations for city dwellers. It's known for its stunning views, gastronomic food trips, and family-friendly activities

Despite being just 2-3 hours away from the Philippines’ capital, Manila, Tagaytay has cooler weather. It has an average lowest temperature of 18.8 °C (65.84 °F) compared to other parts of the Philippines with an average lowest of 26.6 °C (79.9 °F). This is why Tagaytay has been one of the popular day trip destinations in Manila. Those who want to extend their stay will find many options when it comes to Tagaytay hotels.

For DIY itinerary, budget and detailed guide, I have written Tagaytay City Guide on a separate blog.
