I found the best spot to eat bulalo in Tagaytay!

It may not be your main reason of visiting Tagaytay, but admit it, you will never leave the city without getting a hot sip of this soup dish made out of beef shanks and vegetables. Bulalo is one of the comfort food that is perfect for Tagaytay's cold weather.

Good thing, we found this restaurant in Cavite that serves sumptuous meals like bulalo and other Filipino food.

Jaytee's Filipino Cuisine, branded as the home of the best Bulalo and Kare-kare in Tagaytay, is one of a bunch of restaurants to serve the beef soup. 

Jaytee's Filipino Cuisine Main Branch

Jaytee’s original branch is located in One Destination, a big area along the main road in Tagaytay that houses several other restaurants, including Starbucks Coffee.

JAYTEE'S FILIPINO CUISINE MENU

At Jaytee’s, you’ll find a variety of Filipino favorites including Kare-Kare, Crispy Pata, Grilled Liempo and Sizzling Pork Sisig, among others. They have Kalderatang Kambing, a Filipino dish that features a hearty and thick stew comprised of goat meat, potatoes, and carrots.

If you’re a fan of seafood, they also have Adobong Pusit that features squid cooked using the adobo method, a popular cooking method in the Philippines that uses soy sauce-and-vinegar mixture. This dish is best savored when it’s hot!

Most of their meals are good for shaing (2-4 pax). The highlight, of course, is their Bulalo. Its broth is tasty, rich, and satisfying enough while the meat is very tender.

JAYTEE'S PERFECT VIEW

It wasn't my first time to have a taste of Jaytee's Filipino food. It was evening when we dined in at their Jaytee's Classic branch near The Lake Hotel Tagaytay, so I didn't get a chance to have a nice overlooking view of Taal.

Visiting their latest branch in Laurel, Batangas gave me an amazing "perfect" view of Taal Lake and Volcano. The scenic view of the lake provides the ideal backdrop for when you’re enjoying Bulalo and the other Filipino dishes that Jaytee’s has to offer.

We went here to have our late lunch after our short visit to Queens Strawberry Farm in Alfonso. We were lucky enough to get a table near the cliff view. We can see Taal Lake and Volcano from perfectly from our seats.

Since Jaytee's has big serving meals, we ordered food that we shared together. After having our sumptuous meals, I decided to take home their best-tasting Buco Pie, too.

HOW TO GET TO JAYTEE'S FILIPINO CUISINE PERFECT VIEW

Jaytee's Perfect View is located along Tagaytay-Nasugbu Highway in Laurel, Batangas. But it still considered near Tagaytay.

For those who are going via public commuting, you can take a bus or jeepney ride en route to Nasugbu. You just have to drop off once you see Jaytee's Perfect View.

For those who are coming with a private vehicle, you can follow directions using Waze or Google Maps:
