Here is a list of the requirements that you have to prepare in opening a “BPI Padala Moneyger” account.

One of the accounts offers by the Bank of the Philippine Islands or BPI which is among the trusted banks in the Philippines and as well as internationally is a remittance account.

The said account benefits the overseas Filipino workers and as well as their loved ones in the Philippines who are receiving money from them. It makes the transfer of money more convenient and safer.

The remittance account of the Bank of the Philippine Islands is called “BPI Padala Moneyger”. There is only a short list of BPI remittance account requirements for the opening.

Based on the official website of the Bank of the Philippine Islands, there are only two(2) main BPI remittance account requirements that applicants should comply in opening a BPI Padala Moneyger account.

Here are the short list of what you need to prepare:

Valid identification card (ID) with photo and signature
Initial deposit

According to BPI, the valid ID that applicants will present should be unexpired. With regards to the initial deposit, the bank has not set a required initial deposit in opening a BPI Padala Moneyger account.

The required daily balance to earn an interest is Php 5,000.00 at the interest rate of 0.25% per annum. The required minimum monthly ADB is also waived as long as there are at least four(4) remittances in a year.

Should you wish to start your application for a BPI Remittance Account, just bring the requirements to the bank branch where you want to open an account and you will be assisted by a bank staff or officer.
