THINGS TO DO AT SABANG BEACH BALER

Sabang Beach may not be a pristine beach if white sand is what you dig. But its beauty emanates as being called the sunrise beach of Aurora province where sunrise and waves are equally as astounding to complement each other to bring forth an amazing surfing experience.

Here are some of the things and activities you can enjoy at Sabang Beach:
  • Swimming. Yup, though it gives you strong and higher waves, Sabang Beach is also good for swimming. The beach is shallow even you go far from the shore - and it's FREE!

  • Surfing. Visiting Baler won't be complete if you won't try surfing. It's easy to learn, take it from me! :D I am not of that adventurous kind of person and doesn't know how to swim. But, hell yeah! I did surf from Sabang Beach!

  • Beach Bum. For those who wants to chill, this beach is perfect for strolling and sunbathing. The shore is so wide, you can sit and relax and feel the breeze of the Pacific air.

  • Food Trip. For those who are looking for gastronomic experience, Sabang Beach is a home to local restaurants and cafes where you can indulge yourself with Baler and Filipino cuisine.

To see more activities you can do, please check my Baler Travel Guide.

BEST TIME TO VISIT SABANG BEACH

We went to Sabang Beach early in the morning on our 2nd day in Baler. The waves were in moderate (the perfect ones as per our surfing guide) and the sea level is lower than the usual. Since the beach is facing east, it is also a perfect time to watch sunrise here.
