Who doesn’t need to apply for the South Korea ETA?

Starting from April 1, 2023, until December 31, 2024, visitors from 22 countries/regions will not require a South Korea ETA. This move was initiated by the South Korean government to celebrate "Visit Korea Year". The countries/regions included in this initiative are:

Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Macao, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, UK, and US (including Guam).

However, please note that citizens of these countries/regions can still apply for a K-ETA online, which will allow them to skip filling out an arrival card upon arrival at the South Korean airport.
