Philhealth Monthly Premium Rates

According to the Universal Health Care Act of the Philippines, Philhealth monthly premiums for direct contributors from 2023 onwards will be based on the rates of this chart. However, premiums for 2023 will remain 4%.

PhilHealth Monthly Premium

Employed

The total monthly premiums of employed members are being shared 50-50 by the employer (50%) and employee (50%).

For Employed Members of PhilHealth, this means that if your monthly salary is ₱20,000.00, the 4.5% of that is ₱900 (calculated as ₱20,000 * 0.045). The ₱900.00 is your total monthly contribution. However, you don't have to pay for the whole amount since this shall be shared equally by your employer and yourself. You just have to contribute ₱450 and your employer's counterpart is also ₱450, a total of ₱900.

For Kasambahay or Helpers, if your monthly salary is less than ₱5,000.00, your employer should solely pay your monthly contribution.
