The Philippines has tallied 1,540 new COVID-19 cases (993 are fresh and 547 are late cases), recording a total of 47,873 CONFIRMED cases.



12,386 recovered from the disease while 1,309 died of it. Leaving us with 34,178 active cases, the highest in Southeast Asia as of writing.
