Thinking for somewhere to eat tonight? This place in BGC is definitely a food haven for you.

Open only at night until 6am, Mercato Centrale has been a place for people who are up at night and looking for good food with so much variety of choices. It became a "market" of both usual and unusual eats.

I've been here not only once or twice, but many times. Other markets like this sprout and die, food parks arose for a short time but Mercato is still here. So for the Nth time, I came back and see what has changed (if there was) or see what's new.

WHAT TO TRY AT MERCATO CENTRALE

There's a lot of food stalls to choose from. But here are our choices that one night me and my team went there:

FINGERS AND FLAVORS

This stall offers flavorful chicken fingers partnered with rice or home-made potato chips. If you are a person who hate to eat chicken because of its bones, then its a perfect find to try here at Mercato Centrale.

Each chicken fingers come with unique and home-made dips that make them even more tasty.

MUST TRY
  • 🍴Classic Buffalo
  • 🍴Peri-Peri
  • 🍴Honey Sriracha (Best Seller)
  • 🍴Hickory Bbq (Best Seller)
  • 🍴Salted Egg Cheese (Best Seller)

Price range: P150

If you are a chicken lover, then this one is a must-try here.
Fresh, Hot, Crispy, Juicy & Tasty 😋

HOGWINGS BY HOUSE OF GRIDDLE

When talking about chicken wings, Hogwings by House of Griddle is a top choice at Mercato Centrale. People are queuing here when we drop by.

MUST TRY

  • 👍 Honey Siracha
  • 👍 Hickory Smoked Bbq
  • 👍 Garlic Parmesan

But people are really coming here for their "Carolina Reaper". If you are into spicy, then you must try it!

Price Range: P130-P300

SORBELATO Sorbelato Menu, Reviews, Photos, Location and Info - Zomato

To all stalls here, this one really caught our attention. At first, we thought that this is just the ordinary "dirty ice cream" you can find on the streets.

Surprisingly, it looks like the usual sorbetes but it is really a gelato. The available flavors were cheese and ube (my favorite!). It tastes a real gelato. Tastier and creamier than the normal sorbetes.

In 2017, Sorbelato was born, creating flavors of traditional Filipino sorbetes ice cream with the rich creamy taste of Italian gelato. Sorbelato Ice cream is made with the freshest and premium ingredients, with zero preservatives.

Price: P35
