Clark International Airport (CRK) serves as an alternative gateway to Metro Manila, especially for airlines seeking to avoid congestion at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA). Here's a comprehensive guide to navigating through Clark Airport for your international flight:

Getting to Clark Airport

Clark International Airport is situated approximately two to three hours away from Manila, depending on your starting point in the city. Given potential traffic delays, it's wise to allocate ample travel time. Consider departing from Manila at least six hours before your scheduled flight to allow for any unforeseen circumstances.

Private Vehicle: You can drive to Clark Airport, either in your own car or through a hired service. Ensure to consider traffic conditions and allow extra time for potential delays.

Public Transport: Several bus companies operate routes between Manila and Clark Airport. Buses depart from various terminals in Manila, including Cubao and Pasay. Choose a reputable bus service and plan your journey accordingly.

CLARK AIRPORT GUIDE: How to Get There, What to Do Before Flight and List of Destination

Traveling abroad from the Philippines can be an exciting adventure, whether you're embarking on a leisurely vacation or a business trip. However, proper preparation and knowledge of procedures are essential to ensure a smooth journey. Below is a detailed guide to help you navigate the process effectively:

Things to Bring to the Airport

By including these additional items in your travel preparations, you'll be better equipped to navigate the airport procedures and enjoy a hassle-free international journey from the Philippines.

Valid Passport: Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your intended stay in the destination country.

Visa and Travel Documents: Carry all required visas, permits, and travel documents for your destination.

Printed Flight Itinerary/Tickets: While electronic tickets are convenient for domestic flights, it's advisable to print out your tickets for international travel. You'll need to present them multiple times throughout the journey, from check-in to immigration, making it more practical and efficient than relying solely on your phone.

Travel Insurance: Consider purchasing travel insurance to cover medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and other unforeseen circumstances.

Currency and Payment Methods: Bring sufficient local currency for immediate expenses upon arrival, as well as international credit/debit cards for convenience.

Loading...

Company ID: Immigration officers may request a company ID as proof of your ties to the Philippines and your intention to return. Carry this along with other identification documents to facilitate the immigration process.

Credit Card: Some airlines may require a copy of the credit card used for booking tickets online, so be prepared to present it if necessary. Additionally, having a credit card provides a safety net in case you need extra funds during your travels or for hotel deposits.

Travel Itinerary: Create a detailed itinerary outlining your planned activities and accommodations. This can be helpful if immigration officers conduct a random check, as it demonstrates your genuine intent to visit as a tourist. Keep a printed copy with you for reference.

Hotel Address and Contact Number: Carry the address and contact information of your accommodations, especially if you're traveling with someone who may need assistance or doesn't speak the local language. This information is also required for immigration forms and ensures easier communication in case of emergencies or getting lost.

A Pen: Don't overlook the importance of carrying a pen. You'll likely need to fill out various forms during your journey, such as immigration and customs declarations. Having a pen readily available saves time and ensures smooth completion of required paperwork.

What to Do Upon Check-in and Departure

Check Your Documents: Ensure you have all the necessary documents required for international travel. These typically include your passport, visa (if required), travel insurance, and any other relevant permits or certificates.

Arrive Early: Arrive at the airport well in advance of your flight. International flights often require you to check in at least three hours before departure to complete security and immigration procedures.

Baggage Check: Head to the designated check-in counter for your airline. Have your passport and travel documents ready for verification. Check your baggage in accordance with the airline's regulations regarding weight, size, and prohibited items.

Security Screening: Proceed to the security checkpoint after checking in your luggage. Remove any metal objects, electronic devices, and liquids from your carry-on baggage for screening. Follow instructions from airport staff to expedite the process.

Immigration Clearance: After passing through security, proceed to the immigration area. Have your passport, boarding pass, and any required departure forms ready for inspection. Answer any questions from immigration officers truthfully and courteously.

Boarding: Once through immigration, proceed to the designated boarding gate indicated on your boarding pass. Boarding usually begins around 45 minutes before departure. Listen for announcements or monitor the information screens for updates on your flight.

Final Security Check: Before boarding the aircraft, you may undergo a final security check at the gate. Follow instructions from airport staff and cooperate accordingly.

Boarding the Aircraft: When your row or group is called, board the aircraft in an orderly manner. Present your boarding pass to the flight attendant and find your assigned seat. Stow your carry-on baggage in the overhead compartment or under the seat in front of you.

A: Report lost or delayed baggage to the airline's baggage claim desk immediately upon arrival. Provide details of your baggage and travel itinerary for tracking purposes.

Cebu Pacific Travel Fund Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is a Travel Fund?

Travel Fund is a virtual wallet used to store the total amount you’ve paid for an existing booking. Each booking converted to Travel Fund is valid for six (6) months from date of conversion. It can be used as form of payment for booking a new flight and purchasing add-ons in the future.

The value to be included in the Travel Fund includes fares, taxes, all unused add-ons, admin fee and handling fees, but excludes flight fees.

Travel Fund is offered for cancelled flights or for flights with schedule changes of more than sixty (60) minutes. For added flexibility, guests who purchased CEB Flexi during initial booking may also opt for Travel Fund for Voluntary Change/Cancellation purposes.

2. What are benefits of getting a Travel Fund?

These are the benefits you’d get to enjoy when you convert your booking to Travel Fund:
  • Long validity – Travel Fund is valid for six (6) months and it starts on the day you convert your existing flight to Travel Fund.

Remember, you don’t have to travel within six (6) months. Instead, the fund needs to be used up within the validity period, which means you just need to book any flight within that 6-month period. Travel date can be as far as our system shows you at the time of booking, which is usually one (1) year ahead.

Here's an example:

If you decide to book your new flight by the 180th day -- that is, September 27, 2022 -- you can select travel dates between September 27, 2022 to September 26, 2023. Don't worry, we will send you a reminder email 45 days before the last day to use your Travel Fund, so you won’t forget. Alternatively, the expiry date will be shown on your MyCebuPacific account, under My Travel Fund.

  • Faster payment and booking – Because you now have a ready fund available, you can easily complete your booking, whenever you are ready travel again. You can also use your Travel Fund to pay for airport fees (i.e., excess baggage, gate baggage, etc.).

3. Is Travel Fund transferable?

No. Travel Fund remains to be non-transferable. However, the owner the fund may now use it to book for anyone.

Here’s an example:
  • Juan is a MyCebuPacific member and has Travel Fund in his account.
  • Juan needs to log in to be able to use the fund to book for any of his family and friends.
  • Juan may or may not choose to travel with them.

4. What is the validity of Travel Fund?

Starting April 6, 2022, all newly created or newly transferred Travel Fund will have a validity of six (6) months.

5. When does the six-month validity of Travel Fund start?

It starts on the day you convert your existing flight to Travel Fund. Remember, you don’t have to travel within the Travel Fund validity period. Instead, the fund needs to be used up before it expires. Travel date can be as far as our system shows you at the time of booking.

We will send you a reminder email 45 days before the last day to use your Travel Fund, so you won’t forget. Alternatively, the expiry date will be shown on your account, under My Travel Fund.

Here’s an example:

If you decide to book your new flight by the 180th day -- that is, September 27, 2022 -- you can select travel dates between September 27, 2022 to September 26, 2023.

6. I have an existing Travel Fund in my MyCebuPacific account. Is the validity going to be affected?

No. Validity of existing Travel Fund will not be affected. The six (6) month validity is only applicable to newly created Travel Fund or to funds that will be transferred from the booking reference/PNR to the MyCebuPacific account.

7. What does it mean when you say that the Travel Fund validity resets to six (6) months when transferred from the booking reference to MyCebuPacific account?

Starting April 6, 2022, guests may transfer their Travel Fund stored in the booking reference to their MyCebuPacific member account. The Travel Fund validity of those who will do so will reset to six (6) months. Here are some samples to help explain:
  • Juan’s Travel Fund is stored as Reservation Credit and it’s expiring on May 2022. He creates a MyCebuPacific account on April 2022 and transfers his expiring Travel Fund there. His Travel Fund’s validity is now extended to six (6) months, so its new expiry is on October 2022.

  • Jason’s Travel Fund is stored as Reservation Credit and it’s expiring on February 2024. He creates a MyCebuPacific account on April 2022 and transfers his expiring Travel Fund there. His Travel Fund’s validity is now shortened to six (6) months, so its new expiry is on October 2022.

8. While not logged in to my MyCebuPacific account, I converted my booking to Travel Fund on December 1, 2021 with two (2) years validity and expiry of December 1, 2023. What happens if I transfer the Travel Fund to my MyCebuPacific account on September 1, 2022?

When you transfer your unexpired Travel Fund from your booking reference to your MyCebuPacific account, the validity will reset to six (6) months.

Instead of this fund expiring in two (2) years on December 1, 2023, the fund will have a new expiration of six (6) months on March 1, 2023.

9. While not logged in to my MyCebuPacific account, I converted my booking to Travel Fund on April 1, 2022 with six (6) months validity and expiry of October 1, 2022. What happens if I transfer the Travel Fund to my MyCebuPacific account on September 1, 2022?

When you transfer your unexpired Travel Fund from your booking reference to your MyCebuPacific account, the validity will reset to six (6) months.

Instead of this fund originally expiring on October 1, 2022, the fund will have a new expiration date of March 1, 2023.

10. I have a lot of bookings with Cebu Pacific and I don’t remember all my booking references. How do I know which ones were stored in a Travel Fund?

Whenever you book a flight directly with Cebu Pacific, we send the itinerary to the email registered during booking. Please check the registered email for the itinerary, where you can see the booking reference number, then follow these steps to view the Travel Fund balance, if any:
  1. Go to https://bit.ly/MyCebuPacificMB
  2. Retrieve your booking by entering your Booking Reference Number and the Last Name of any of the passengers
  3. Click on the ‘My Travel Fund’ tab.

Additionally, the Travel Fund balance will also be sent to the booking’s registered email address within forty-eight (48) hours after you’ve successfully converted your booking to Travel Fund.

11. How do I know if my Travel Fund is stored in my booking reference or in my MyCebuPacific account?

If your Travel Fund is stored in the booking reference number of each flight you converted to Travel Fund, then you can check this by going to our Manage Booking portal and retrieve your booking by entering the booking reference number and the last name of any of the guests in that booking. Click the “My Travel Fund” tab to view your balance.

If your Travel Fund is in your MyCebuPacific account, then simply log in your account in our website/app, then click your profile icon at the top right portion of the page. Click the “My Travel Fund” tab to view your balance. Note that the expiration date indicated is for the Travel Fund that will expire first. Make sure to use your Travel Fund before it expires.

12. I have an existing Travel Fund but it’s not in my MyCebuPacific account. Can I simply transfer it?

You can add the Travel Fund stored in the booking reference to your MyCebuPacific account if the email address or name of any of the passengers in the booking matches that of the MyCebuPacific account details.

13. What happens if I don’t want to create a MyCebuPacific account and transfer my Travel Fund there?

Don’t worry, even if you don’t have a MyCebuPacific account, you’ll still be able to book flights through our website/app, though its features will be limited. We recommend creating one so you can enjoy these benefits:

Use Manage Booking to make changes to your flights or to purchase add-ons
Get notifications for promos, seat sales, etc.
Set your preferences (i.e., payment options, guest details, etc.) so it’s easier to book flights
And if you have Travel Fund, transfer it to your MyCebuPacific account so you can use it to book flights or purchase add-ons for anyone.

14. Why can’t I use my Travel Fund to manage my flight?

It could be because your Travel Fund is not in your MyCebuPacific account. To use your Travel Fund as a form of payment in our Manage Booking portal, please transfer it first to your MyCebuPacific account.

15. How do I transfer my Travel Fund from my original Booking Reference Number to my MyCebuPacific account?

Once you’ve successfully created a MyCebuPacific account, or if you have one already, follow these simple steps to add your existing Travel Fund (stored in your booking reference) to your account:

Step 1 – Log in to your MyCebuPacific account

Step 2 – Go to “Bookings” then click on the “Add Booking” section and enter the booking reference and last name of one of the guests in the booking.

Step 3 – Add the Travel Fund to your account by entering the email address registered in the booking or the full name of one of the guests.

Make sure that the email in the booking is the same email registered to your MyCebuPacific account.

16. How do I voluntarily convert my booking to Travel Fund, if I have CEB Flexi?

If you bought the CEB Flexi add-on during initial booking, you can convert your booking to Travel Fund as voluntary change/cancellation up to two (2) hours before the scheduled time of departure. Here's how:
  1. Log in to your account at https://bit.ly/MyCebuPacificMB
  2. Search for the specific flight under ‘My Booking’
