“This footbridge is really very important because it is located in the boundary of Taguig and Parañaque. Its renovation started today,” she said over radio DZBB.

Pialago said MMDA deployed personnel to help commuters cross the road.

PEDESTRIAN FRIENDLY

“We are strengthening the footbridge and making it more pedestrian friendly. We are also making it more beautiful,” she added.

The footbridge is almost 2 decades old now looks old, rusty and has craters on it.
