This is an update about Laguindingan Airport enhancements.
In order to further serve and cater to the growing number of passengers traveling to Northern Mindanao, Laguindingan Airport has started to enhance and develop its infrastructure and facilities throughout 2019 and in the years to come.
2018 REPORTSIn 2018, Laguindingan Airport catered to 2,079,684 passengers, a 14% increase from the 1,814,644 passengers who went through the airport in 2017. The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP), as the airport’s operator, sees this boost in passenger movement as a welcome development. That is why the CAAP is continuously launching and undertaking initiatives that will bring improvements and upgrades to the airport serving the general area of Misamis Oriental province.
2019Among the recently completed projects at Laguindingan Airport this 2019 include improvements that will create a more welcoming impression for the guests of the airport, such as the installation of air-conditioning units at the passenger boarding bridges and the repair of the passenger terminal building’s (PTB) airside visual signage.
