Despite of being tag as "The Land of the Howling Winds", this 12th largest island in the Philippines has a lot to offer.A landmass nearest to Pacific Ocean, white sand beaches, old stone churches, prehistoric caves, refreshingly waterfalls, majestic waves(a surfer's must try), a cheaper Batanes counterpart, and the warm Catandungan locals, one will definitely leave the place with a wide smile, proving how locals dubbed it as "The Happy Island".

Suggestions :
📌You can pitch tent for cheaper accomodation just bring your own, tent pitching is only 200pesos a day.
📌Choose UV Express when going to Puraran Resort(100 fare) for comfortable ride(1 hour),also it leaves as soon as it's already full..
📌You can walk going down to the resort upon arrival at Puraran Resort(20 mins) or ride a trike
📌You can bring foods for lesser expenses with no corkage fee, or you can cook there, just bring utensils.Foods are a bit pricey.
📌Tourguide is a must in Binurong Point(for safety reasons and photo ops😉)
📌Try to haggle the agreed tour price.

📌Surfing board and surfing lesson is 350 per hour.(Try befriending the other guest/host so you can just borrow the board instead of renting if your reason is only to take pictures with it😂😉, use charms)
