Marikina City's 3-Stage Alarm Level System

Marikina City has established a 3-stage alarm level system based on the depth of water in the river below the Sto. Niño Bridge:

• Alarm Level 1: When the water reaches 15 meters above sea level, it indicates a "prepare" status.
  
  
• Alarm Level 2: At 16 meters above sea level, the alarm signals "evacuate" as a precautionary measure.
  
  
• Alarm Level 3: When the water rises to 18 meters above sea level, a "forced evacuation" is mandated to ensure safety.
