‘ProbinSyudad’
Despite being among Metro Manila’s bustling business centers, the city government is doing a conscious effort to keep Taguig as a “probinsyudad,” by “striking a balance between modernization and tradition, advancement and the environment, the urban, and rural.” The city is doing this by introducing integrated urban farms and parks, most notably the Taguig Lakefront Community Park. For historical sites, the city has the parola, the Felix Manalo Shrine, the Blue Mosque, the St. Anne Church, Dambanang Kawayan, Veterans Museum, and Simboryo, to add to the list.
