THE VINTAGE KITCHEN: Rustic Vibe Diner in Pasig

The Vintage Kitchen, PASIG

This small cafeteria in Pasig gives you vintage vibe.

Barangay Kapasigan is just becoming the next food hub in Pasig after Kapitolyo and C. Raymundo Ave. In 2017, many restaurants and cafes opened. One of them is this "vintage feels" small neighborhood cafe just next to Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Pasig (PLP).

Having the rustic ambiance, you will definitely take a second look to this cafe whenever you pass by Alcalde Jose St. (Pariancilio). So one night, we visited the place and curiously tried some of their food.

THE FOOD

Located next to a school and a nearby hospital, the price range of their food is really pocket-friendly. With regards to the serving and the quality, both are not compromised.

Cheese Quesadillas

I will not include the prices here since they change it a little in time. But the good thing is that our total bill did not reach P300. We ordered at least 4 meals/dish with iced tea/lemonade and we only paid 200-ish.

With all of what we ate, all of them were pretty good. But our best choice was the Cheese Quesadillas. You must try it when visit here.

One of their best-sellers are their variety of chicken wings (P149 for 6pcs).

This cafe is also very generous. Almost every month, they have promos.

Overall, the experience was great. You really don't have to expect so much, but you will definitely come back. We must come back here to try the other menu. *two thumbs up*

HOW TO GET TO THE VINTAGE KITCHEN

I tried searching them on Google Maps or other mapping apps but their name does not appear. However, it is really easy to find them. If you are familiar with the small barangay Kapasigan, you can just easily find them once you dropped off the corner of PS Bank along A. Mabini St. (now Bonifacio Park).

PUBLIC COMMUTING

From EDSA
Take a jeepney ride en route to Pasig Palengke. Just drop off PS Bank. Then walk straight to Alcalde Jose St. where you can find the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Pasig or PLP. The cafe is just located at the right side.

From Ortigas Ave. Ext. (Floodway or Cainta)
Take a jeepney ride en route to Pasig Palengke (the Pasig-Marikina one). It will also pass by PS Bank on A. Mabini St. Then walk straight to Alcalde Jose St. where you can find the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Pasig or PLP. The cafe is just located at the right side.

PRIVATE COMMUTING

Once you get to Kapasigan via Rotonda, just straight ahead to A. Mabini St. and turn right to Alcalde Jose St.
