Welcome to the most famous diving spot in the Philippines!

Anilao, Mabini

Known as “underwater photographer’s paradise”, Anilao is a Marine Protected Sanctuary that is commonly regarded as the birthplace of scuba diving in the Philippines.

Underwater of Verde Island Passage

It is s thriving tourist destination replete with open beaches and sheltered coves, subterranean caves of deep harbors, and a preserved heritage of brave men in history.

Verde Island Passage diving spot area

Dive spots were slowly named one after the other around the perimeter of Mabini, including Bauan, all the way to the perimeter of the three islands across it, namely Maricaban, Caban, and Sombrero Island, which are part of the municipality of Tingloy. Since then, Anilao became the generic term to represent all of the dive sites found in Mabini, Tingloy, and Bauan.

Diving in the Philippines

Located in Indo-Pacific's Coral Triangle and boasting over 7,000 islands, the Philippines is home to some of the world's best scuba diving. With pristine coral reefs, lush coral gardens, huge schools of fish, rare critters, manta rays, and even whale sharks--there's something for everyone in the Philippines!

Why choose Anilao for your diving spot?

The closest underwater haven for fun dive tours from Metro Manila has always been Anilao. It is the main reason why almost all divers who reside in Metro Manila were baptized as a diver in Anilao before exploring other Philippine diving spots like Tubbataha Reef in Sulu Sea, diving in Apo Island, Coron wreck diving, diving in Puerto Galera, Bohol diving spots, and Cebu diving spots

Secret Bay, also known as Manit Muck, is probably the best muck dive site in Anilao. Here, you can find mimic octopus, wonderpus, pipefish, frogfish, and the list goes on.

The Pier is where you can find the much-sought-after bobbit worms and stargazers!

Twin Rocks

Twin Rocks is great for macro and wide-angle alike, with pristine soft corals, schooling jacks, and plenty of small fish.

Beatrice is a great wide-angle site with colorful corals teeming with anthias and other reef fish.
