eSakay Jeepneys: the new way of transportation in Makati City

If you’re one who goes through the daily commute in and out of the city, then you’ll be happy to hear about this great news.

Energy-efficient and rider-friendly eSakay jeepneys are now ready to serve you at Circuit Makati. Don’t believe it? Just check out the many beautiful green-and-white jeepneys parked in our terminal.

Rides around Makati are available now from 5:00AM to 11:30PM daily.

The journeys, or biyahe, starts at Circuit Makati (assigned waiting area is at the Uniqlo branch in Ayala Malls Circuit) then the following route is followed:

Kalayaan
Nicanor Garcia (SM Jazz)
MRT Station Buendia
Makati Avenue (towards Mandaluyong)

Keep in mind that riders may alight (the “para-para” system) at any destination provided it is within this route. Also, as of now, more waiting areas are being planned in accordance to the local government.

Price starts at 9 pesos (minimum fare) while end-to-end point is 15 pesos.

Compared to the standard jeepney, these electronic jeepneys have bigger seating capacities (maximum capacity at 40 pax), are equipped with electric fans, USB chargers, comfortable seats, and even free Wi-Fi!

These eSakay jeepneys is an initiative by the Meralco Corporation and the National Government in bringing environmentally-sound and innovative solutions for commuters in the city.
