On March 13, 2025, the SM North EDSA Busway concourse officially opened, providing a more efficient and convenient way for commuters to access the EDSA Busway directly from SM City North EDSA. Here's what you need to know about this new infrastructure:

What is the SM North EDSA Busway Concourse?

The concourse is a dedicated walkway that connects SM City North EDSA, SM CyberWest, and the SM North EDSA Public Transport Terminal to the EDSA Busway station.

This project is the result of a collaboration between SM Prime Holdings, the Department of Transportation (DOTr), the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), and the Quezon City local government.

Why is it Important?

The concourse was designed to enhance urban mobility and provide commuters with a safer and more efficient transit experience. By offering a sheltered and well-lit path, it helps passengers avoid traffic congestion and harsh weather conditions while improving accessibility for everyone, including persons with disabilities (PWDs), the elderly, and pregnant women.

What Features Does It Offer?

Direct Access Points: The concourse links key areas such as the mall, SM CyberWest, and the transport terminal.

Accessibility: Equipped with stairs, escalators, and elevators to cater to all passengers.

Navigation Support: A map is available to help passengers find their way, which is especially useful given the large layout of SM City North EDSA.

How Does It Benefit Commuters?

Saves Time: Reduces the need to cross busy streets and navigate through traffic.

Comfort and Safety: Provides a sheltered and well-lit pathway for a more secure commute.

Inclusive Design: Ensures accessibility for people with limited mobility.

How to Access the Concourse

From SM City North EDSA: Look for the signs leading to the concourse near the mall’s main entrance.

From SM CyberWest: Use the connecting pathways to reach the concourse.

From the SM North EDSA Public Transport Terminal: Walk towards the designated access points that link to the concourse.

The Bottom Line

The SM North EDSA Busway concourse is a game-changer for EDSA Busway users, making commuting faster, safer, and more convenient for everyone.

What Is Solaire Resorts North?

This project represents an ambitious idea to create a resort that will offer its visitors the ultimate traveling and gambling experience. A true spectacle when it comes to entertainment and excitement. For the enthusiasts of online gambling sites in the Philippines, which provide different options for fun, this place will seem like a paradise.

Taking 1.5 hectares of space, and reaching 38 floors of height, this construction was carefully designed and planned. And how could it not be, as this project's worth is estimated at 1 billion USD? Solaire Resorts North is the second integrated resort that Bloomberry developed under this brand name. The one in Paranaque City is the first one, and it goes by the name Solaire Resort Entertainment City and is located in the beautiful Manila Bay.

This will be yet another amazing thing you can do and visit in the Philippines. The new one that is being opened in May in Quezon City is designed by the best architectural and interior design companies in this part of the world. It was necessary to include them, as Solaire Resort North is the first five-star establishment in the city.

Importance of the Solaire Resorts North?

The presence of a resort of this magnitude can have numerous positive effects on the community. First of all, the structure of this size will employ over four thousand people at various job positions. The general idea is to promote tourism and attract visitors to this part of the Philippines.

Even the statement of Enrique K. Razon Jr., the Chairman and CEO of Bloomberry, confirms this claim: “With Solaire Resort North, we uphold the same mission in the hope that the property’s presence and operation will support Quezon City’s endeavors to enhance and promote tourism, generate employment for Filipinos, and further attract opportunities for economic and social investments.”

What Will Solaire Resorts North Offer to Visitors?

To fulfill the words of the company’s CEO, this integrated resort needed to be a spectacle in every meaning of the word. The offer had to be grand and luxurious, and with that in mind, this establishment will offer 526 rooms and apartments for its guests. All those people need to be entertained, and with that in mind, the casino is included in the resort, with more than 2,600 electronic gaming machines and over 160 popular table games on multiple levels.

That will guarantee entertainment for numerous visitors, and if they need additional content, Solaire Resort North won’t disappoint them. Restaurants with various international cuisines, event venues, gyms, pools, spas, saunas, and interactive programs for children await them to fulfill every demand that a guest could have.

Conclusion

A brand-new resort in the Philippines is opening at the end of May, and everyone is getting excited about it. Rightfully so, as the Bloomberry Resorts Corporation, which was in charge of this project, outdone themselves this time! This resort will have a huge positive influence on the community and give more strength to the brand when it opens its doors to visitors and tourists.

In the words of Enrique K. Razon Jr.: “At the same time, we anticipate that our presence in Quezon City will positively impact our growth, widen our market footprint, and reinforce our brand’s strength.”.
