GScore FAQS

What’s the minimum GScore for me to avail GCredit? GGives? GLoan?
Metered scoring is not yet available as no score assures the unlocking of lending products.

Will I get a notification if my GScore increases or decreases?
Changes in your GScore can be seen in the GCash App, currently, there is no SMS notification if your GScore increases or decreases.

Why did my GScore decrease even if I’ve been actively using GCash?
Other than the frequency of usage, transactions, wallet health, regular savings, and investing, purchase of insurance are all considered components.

Will my GScore decrease if I do not use GCash?
Yes, inactivity on GCash could potentially lower your score.

When do you update the GScore?
Our system regularly updates your GScore weekly based on your GCash activity from the previous week.

Why is my GScore not increasing even if I use my GCash frequently?
Your GScore is not computed solely based on the frequency of your usage but considers various components to generate your user score. It is based on your frequent GCash activity, maintaining balance, loan performance (early/on-time payments), habitual payment of bills, regular savings and investments, and your purchase of insurance products.

Will my GScore decrease if I do not use GCredit?
Not using your GCredit will not affect your GScore. But if you do use your GCredit and pay your dues on time, this can positively impact your GScore, potentially increasing your GCredit amount in the future.

Why can’t I avail GCredit/GGives/GLoan again when I already availed it before?
There may have been certain policies or scoring metrics that you did not meet to qualify for GCredit/GGives/GLoan. Each of the products has its own specific policies in place.

Why can’t I transfer my GScore from my lost sim to my new number?
Your GScore is unique to your mobile number. Your new sim activities would be the basis for your current GScore.

Why can’t I avail GCredit/GGives/GLoan again when I already availed it before?
With the various components affecting the changes on your GScore, offers may also be affected.
