The GT Foundation, Inc. (GTFI), the family foundation of the late Metrobank founder George S.K. Ty, has officially opened applications for its flagship college scholarship programs for the Academic Year 2026-2027.
The foundation is offering two distinct financial assistance pathways—the GT Youth for Excellence and Service (GT YES) program and the Ready Empowerment and Assistance Program (REAP)—aimed at supporting incoming freshmen and graduating senior students.
The application window is open until July 31, 2026.

The GT YES Scholarship Program (For Incoming Freshmen)
The GT YES Scholarship Program is designed for high-performing, service-oriented incoming first-year college students. It provides a full four-year financial cushion to ensure scholars can focus entirely on completing their degrees.
Partner Institution: Technological Institute of the Philippines (TIP) – Quezon City Campus
Target Beneficiaries: Incoming 1st-Year College Students enrolled in a 4-year degree.
Scholarship Benefits
- ₱50,000 tuition fee subsidy per semester (up to four years).
- Priority internship and employment opportunities within the Metrobank Group and GT Capital Group of Companies.
- Special graduation incentives for scholars who graduate with Latin Honors.
- Access to holistic formation and leadership development programs.

While the program emphasizes STEM and business fields, students from other four-year courses are also encouraged to apply. Priority programs include:

The GT Foundation REAP Program (For Graduating Seniors)
Recognizing the financial hurdles students face right before the finish line, the REAP initiative provides substantial financial aid to regular fourth-year and fifth-year students in their final academic year.
Partner Institutions: Colegio de San Juan de Letran Manila, Manila Tytana Colleges, and the Technological Institute of the Philippines (TIP).

- ₱100,000 tuition fee subsidy covering the final academic year.

The financial assistance covers a broad range of technical and professional disciplines, including:
