KATSU CURRY (P120)

Ito paborito ko. Amoy palang, ulam na! Pramis! Yung katsu ang dami. Sulit na sulit talaga.

THE PLACE

This house-turned-into-restaurant is just hiding the busy place in Comembo, Makati City. Ran by a family, they started the business from catering and now a humbling cafe that serves different cuisines from all over the world.

This part of Calle Gourmet is airconditioned. However, we sat outside (the old parking area of the building) where you can see two tables.

HOW TO GET TO CALLE GOURMET

Calle Gourmet can be seen on both Waze and Google Maps. But here's a quick guide on how you get there:

FROM EDSA

Comembo is accessible via Dr. Jose P. Rizal Avenue. You can catch a jeepney ride from Guadalupe en route to Pateros.

Drop off the corner of Sampaguita St. once you get to Comembo. Walk a little and find Bayabas St. You can see their signage a few blocks away.

FROM PASIG

If you are coming from Pasig town proper (Pasig Simbahan or Pasig Palengke), look for a jeepney en route to Pateros or Bagumbayan (Taguig). Dropoff Pateros and take a short jeepney ride en route to Guadalupe.

Dropoff Sampaguita St. in Comembo. Walk a little and find Bayabas St. You can see their signage a few blocks away. Same way if you are coming from Taguig.
