Here's your complete list of unlimited calls and texts promos by TM.

The competition within the telecommunication space is getting tougher and tougher each year that’s why telco like Touch Mobile (TM) needs to be creative and innovative to keep their position as one of the telco giants in the Philippines.

To serve their customers better, TM continuously introduces new promos for calls, texts, and internet data where they offer competitive rates while maintaining the quality of their service.

Through the years, the list of TM promos keeps on piling up and choosing which one can give your money a bang seems hard. That’s why here in our post we listed down all of the well-known TM call, text, and mobile data promos along with other promo codes that probably will be the first time you’ll discover.

TM Promos

For many, if someone mentions TM promo, the first thing that comes to mind is the data or internet bandwidth allocation attached to it. That’s why many millennials love it, yet, there are still people who are still looking for a promo only for call and text for them to consume either for business or to connect with their family and friends.

Speaking of internet data, the usage now went over from simple internet browsing and scrolling social media news feed like Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, etc.

Today, data becomes more important with the rise of delivery services where the majority of both the riders and drivers are using an app (like GrabAngkasLalamove, etc) that usually needs a connection to the cloud to retrieve information about the product they’re going to deliver and the address of their customer.

Did you know that you can have a special or vanity number from TM? You can get one from here.

Here's your guide to Banapple's menu and list of branches in the Philippines.

Banapple started baking pies & cheesecakes years ago, initially for friends and family, and referred food establishments. Shortly, banapple expanded its client base to include well known food establishments and restaurants, all being served from a home-based kitchen located in Quezon City.

Banapple Market! Market!

The first and my favorite banapple branch is the one located in Market! Market! My favorite (and the one I always order) on their menu is their Hikory Smoked Barbecued Country Ribs - tender country pork ribs grilled in hickory smoke, glazed with our homemade hickory barbecue sauce; served with corn relish.

Banapple Hikory Smoked Barbecued Country Ribs

Their Chicken Parmigiano is also a must-try!

For the desserts, their bestseller (which I also love) is their own blueberry cheesecake. I also love their blueberry pancake!

About Banapple

Banapple Katipunan Too

The brand ‘banapple’ (banana + apple) was established, a contraction on the main ingredients of the banoffee pie and the apple caramel crumble pie, two of banapple’s early hits.

Banapple shortly thereafter transferred its main kitchen to a bigger and more accessible location along Katipunan Avenue in Quezon City. Banapple operates a cake showroom cum cafe at the facade of this kitchen. banapple pies & cheesecakes is a novel find in the metropolis.

In addition to pies, cakes and cheesecakes, banapple serves yummy home-cooked style hot meals like the well-loved chicken parmigiano, lasagna roll-ups and hickory-smoked country ribs as well as sandwiches, pastas, and great pancakes.

Banapple has become a pleasant landmark, and commuters stop for a quick take out to and from work and school.

Spaghetti wires no more!

DAVAO LIGHT AND POWER CO., INC. (Davao Light), an AboitizPower distribution unit, has completed underground cabling activities along C.M. Recto Street in Davao City, from the intersection with San Pedro Street to the intersection with Ramon Magsaysay Avenue.

Loading...
This is the city’s second underground cabling project, following the first, which was completed in 2016 around Davao City Hall and the Sangguniang Panlungsod in accordance with City Ordinance 0177-14, Series of 2014.
Because electric wires are now placed underground, one of the long-term effects of underground cabling is a lower incidence of emergency power outages.

This is an effort to improve customer service while also strengthening the power distribution network’s resilience and reliability.

The first of five phases of the project is the underground cabling in C.M. Recto Street, which began in 2018.

The second phase, which runs from City Hall Drive to the corner of Quirino Avenue, is currently at a 27 percent completion rate, with civil construction such as manhole installation and pipe laying still ongoing.

These phases of the project, like the project implementation around City Hall, encountered numerous challenges such as inclement weather, traffic, and concerns about right-of-way.

Davao Light and other telecommunications companies are working closely together to ensure that the project is completed efficiently and quickly.

The City Government of Davao’s underground cabling plan, as mandated by City Ordinance 0152-17, Series of 2017, requires all telecommunication companies, Davao Light, and all other persons to comply.

According to the plan, the portion of San Pedro Street, Magsaysay Avenue, and Quirino Avenue will be the next streets to be covered by the Underground Cabling Project.

Two (2) newly-completed parallel bridges built by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) now facilitate better mobility and connectivity in the province of Agusan del Sur.

Constructed along Daang Maharlika (Agusan-Davao Section), the 189-lineal meter Andanan Bridge in Bayugan City and the 125-lineal meter Gibong Bridge located in the municipality of Prosperidad provide wider developmental growth and increase efficiency in the delivery of basic services along the area.

DPWH Secretary Roger G. Mercado lauded DPWH Regional Office 13 headed by Director Pol M. delos Santos and Assistant Director Abdulfatak A. Pandapatan for completing both projects earlier than the target date despite challengers due to COVID-19 restrictions and unfavorable weather conditions.
“The two permanent bridges provide a much wider perspective on inter-regional connections that will help maintain a continuous flow of traffic even with the increased volume of vehicles passing through the Agusan-Davao section of Daang Maharlika”, said Secretary Mercado.

Meanwhile, DPWH Regional Office 13 has programmed for immediate funding the completion of approaches of the two bridges.

5 Sorsogon Tourist Spots to Visit and Best Things to Do!

The tourism industry in Sorsogon is optimistic about recovering from the economic slump after health authorities downgraded the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) alert status to Level 2, resulting in eased restrictions and the opening of more establishments.

In an interview on Tuesday, Bobby Gigantone, chief of the Sorsogon Provincial Tourism Office (SPTO), said they have reopened the "butanding" or whale shark interaction in Donsol town following a multi-sectoral meeting on the setting up of guidelines and protocols that would ensure the safety of both the tourists and locals.

Under Alert Level 2, indoor establishments are allowed to have a 50-percent capacity while outdoor areas may have a 70-percent capacity.

The tourism industry of Donsol has suffered huge economic losses resulting from the pandemic due to closed establishments and unemployment of hundreds of workers.

Loading...
Donsol Tourism Office (DTO) data showed the pre-pandemic edition of the Butanding Festival in 2019 generated a total of PHP448 million in gross revenues, of which PHP75 million went to the community, PHP3.5 million went to the local government unit (LGU) coffers, and the rest was spent for national promotions and tourism marketing activities.

The DTO data also showed 13,000 tourist arrivals in the same year.

"With the permanent and temporary closure of tourist establishments such as hotels, resorts, restaurants, hundreds of millions in revenue were lost and hundreds of workers lost their jobs," Gigantone said.

The town's whale shark interaction project is a collaborative undertaking between the LGU, the Department of Tourism (DOT), and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Philippines, a joint commitment for a sustainable and balanced eco-tourism program.

Sorsogon Gov. Francis Escudero, in a statement, said the reopening of the tourism sites would help the industry and community, particularly its workers to bounce back from the slump.

He said the province will soon also open other tourist destinations including the Bulusan Natural Park.

Meanwhile, Herbie Aguas, DOT regional director, in a phone interview, said the pandemic has hurt the tourism industry in the region for the past two years, with PHP10 billion in revenues already lost.

"It will take two to three years for the industry to gradually recover and for the government to pour in fiscal stimulus to assist in the recovery plan," Aguas said.

He also said the pandemic taught some industry stakeholders to find alternative sources of income such as engaging in agri-tourism.
