Living up to its namesake, the mall sports an Italian-inspired architectural design inspired by the Grand Canal in the classical city of Venice, Italy.

The canal is 200 meters long, and 15 meters wide. The gondolas are stationed underneath the Rialto bridge replica.

The mall also has replicas of St. Mark's Campanile in Piazza San Marco, the Rialto Bridge, which is inspired by the famous bridge in Venice and the Ponte de Amore bridge, where mall guests can participate at the mall's love locks installation.

VENICE GRAND CANAL STORES AND RESTAURANTS

How to Get Approved for a Scholarship in the Philippines

Securing a scholarship in the Philippines can significantly ease the financial burden of education and pave the way for a brighter future. Here are some valuable tips to increase your chances of getting approved for a scholarship:

1. Research Extensively

Explore various scholarship programs available in the Philippines. Understand their eligibility criteria, application requirements, and deadlines. Each scholarship has unique qualifications, so find the ones that align with your academic and extracurricular achievements.

2. Maintain Academic Excellence

Most scholarships prioritize students with outstanding academic records. Focus on your studies, aim for high grades, and demonstrate your dedication to learning. Your academic achievements are a fundamental factor in scholarship selection.

3. Engage in Extracurricular Activities

Participate in school clubs, sports, community service, or other extracurricular activities. Scholarships often consider well-rounded individuals who demonstrate leadership skills, teamwork, and a commitment to community service.

4. Prepare a Strong Application

Craft a well-written scholarship application. Pay attention to your essay, if required, and showcase your passion for your chosen field of study, your goals, and how the scholarship will help you achieve them. Be honest, sincere, and compelling in your writing.

8. Seek Recommendations

Obtain recommendation letters from teachers, mentors, or community leaders who can vouch for your character, skills, and achievements. Choose individuals who know you well and can provide genuine, positive feedback.

Submit your application before the deadline and ensure you follow all instructions meticulously. Incomplete or late applications are often disqualified, regardless of the applicant's qualifications.

10. Be Persistent and Apply Widely

Apply for multiple scholarships to increase your chances of getting approved. Don't be discouraged by rejections; use them as opportunities to improve your future applications. Keep refining your application and apply to different programs.

11. Prepare for Examinations

FAQs on Scholarships in the Philippines

1. Does scholarship mean free?

Are scholarships free money? It depends on the scholarship you’re awarded (full or half).

If you have a full scholarship, your tuition is fully paid and you get allowances for the entire academic year. You won’t have to pay anything to attend school as all your expenses are already paid.

Half scholarships just cover your partial tuition, though. They won’t cover all your school expenses, so you must pay for them out of pocket.

2. How many scholarships can you get in the Philippines?

Is it okay to have two scholarships in the Philippines? You can avail of another scholarship sponsored by another organization if the terms do not conflict with any of the stated provisions in your scholarship agreement.

Moreover, you can’t receive financial assistance from an organization with the same sources of funds or the exact nature of business.

3. Are scholarships worth it?

Yes, they are! Looking for scholarships, preparing the requirements, and submitting your application may take time and effort. But the payoff is worthwhile.

Scholarships can help financially struggling families who don’t have the means to send their bright and hardworking children to high school or college. This is why a scholarship is important for deserving students.

Note, though, that how much a scholarship is in the Philippines will depend on the benefits and stipends included.
